Empowering The Next Generation of Professional Women

DiversiTea started as a simple gathering. Women with shared experiences came together over tea to build community and support one another. Over the years, these gatherings grew, revealing the deeper need for mentorship, access, and opportunity.

In 2016, a shift in leadership and focus transformed DiversiTea from a social gathering into a mentorship program committed to breaking down the barriers to achievement that many young women of color face.  In May of 2019, we gained our 501(c)3 status. Since forming the nonprofit we have seen an increase in interest from both mentees and mentors. We provide access to networks, scholarships, paid internships, and cultural experiences. These resources open doors and create pathways to success.

Under the leadership of Michelle D. Craig and our dedicated board, we are writing new stories with brilliant young women who are determined to change the world.
